Fireworks in store

The Louisville Fire Department says, across the country, fireworks cause nearly 20,000 building fires and around 13,000 injuries.

Pyro City in Clarksville made it through the holiday weekend, but just barely, amid a fireworks shortage. 

With Fourth of July festivities planned this weekend, firefighters want to make sure you celebrate safely.
