Some workers at Louisville's biggest manufacturers, Ford and GE Appliances, say the factories aren't clean and the "social distancing" recommended to curb the spread of the coronavirus is not realistic.
The Louisville-based company that has come under fire for pressing on with manufacturing through the pandemic said Tuesday that one of its employees has a “probable, but unconfirmed case” of the novel coronavirus.
The donation announcement comes a day after Gov. Andy Beshear said he wanted to learn more about allegations by GE Appliances workers that the company is hoarding face masks for its own employees' usage at a time when they are needed for healthcare workers.
