The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is shutting down the interstate between Interstate 264 and Jefferson Street in June and July next year.
In just 87 days, all lanes of Interstate 65 between downtown Louisville and the Watterson Expressway, expected to cause extreme traffic interruptions and backups.
While the road will stay closed for two months, construction in the area will last much longer.
