IMAGES | Train derailment in Glendale, Kentucky topples multiple train cars

The derailment happened on Thursday afternoon in the center of town, after a semi got stuck on the tracks.Â

Kentucky State Police said the derailment happened just before 3 p.m. on Thursday.Â
CSX said Thursday the train, which was transporting cars, had to make an emergency stop to avoid hitting a semitruck that had bottomed out on a crossing.
