Chet WhiteFormer University of Kentucky swim coach Gary Conelly, who was among several university officials named in a Title IX sexual assault lawsuit against the school, was dismissed from the suit by U.S. judge Karen Caldwell.
The ruling keeps some claims intact under Kentucky’s five-year statute of limitations for sexual offenses, allowing the case to proceed under state law.
The case, filed last year, alleges misconduct by Jorgensen and names the university and athletics director Mitch Barnhart as additional defendants.
