LMPD Cecil Avenue Shooting on 7-21-21

Pictured: LMPD investigators at the scene of a fatal double shooting in the 200 block of Cecil Avenue in Louisville, Ky., on July 21, 2021, that left a female teen dead and a male teen hospitalized. A few hours later, a second female was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the same location.Â

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to the reported shooting in the 200 block of Cecil Avenue, which is not far from South 41st Street and West Market Street, around 8:50 p.m.
The shootings happened Wednesday night and Thursday morning on Cecil Avenue in the Shawnee Neighborhood.Â
Police are pointing to guns and social media as the drivers for the violence -- and now the feds are getting involved.
