Last week, LMPD leadership addressed safety concerns at the shelter that opened at Wayside Christian Mission.
The study was completed with the purpose of guiding Louisville Metro Government leaders on best practices when it comes to dealing with the city's homeless population.
The plan follows eight recommendations laid out in a recent study by the University of Louisville, titled "Solving Street Homelessness in Louisville, Kentucky."
