LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Pennsylvania man was sentenced March 18 to 20 years in prison for driving to Bullitt County to meet a 14-year-old girl and taking her back to Pennsylvania.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 23-year-old Bailey Stouter used social media to arrange a meeting with the girl. He drove from Pennsylvania to her home in Bullitt County, then took her back to Pennsylvania for a sexual encounter.
Officials said she was found in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, after a missing person report was issued.
"Online predators are a plague," U.S. Attorney Kyle Bumgarner said in a news release Tuesday. "They manipulate, exploit and abuse our children. Law enforcement will leave no stone unturned in searching for these predators. The U.S. Attorney's Office will aggressively prosecute these deviants."
Stouter was charged with transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and online enticement of a minor.
He was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution to the victim.
