Newly elected members of Louisville Metro Council were sworn in and Mayor Craig Greenberg officially spoke to councilors for the first time on Tuesday evening.
By law, Metro Council has to select replacements within 30 days of a seat becoming vacant.
The new District 8 Council member will be announced and sworn in at council's regularly scheduled meeting on March 16.
