New tiger cub debuts at Louisville Zoo - 10.1.24

The 3-month-old Sumatran Tiger, born on July 23, 2024, will be on exhibit with his mother, Jingga.Â

The cub still doesn't have a name, but the Zoo is holding a contest to pick one.Â
Eight-year-old Skylar Bischof-Thomas, a patient at Norton Children's Hospital, was joined by Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and zoo officials to help reveal the winning name on Friday.
