LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One man is dead and two others are critically injured after a car crash in Meade County.
Kentucky State Police Post 4 is investigating after responding to a two-vehicle crash near the 14000 block of U.S. 60 in Meade County Thursday morning.
KSP said a semitruck was traveling eastbound on U.S. 60 when he crossed the center line for unknown reasons, hitting a Ford F-150. Police said a passenger in the Ford F-150, 80-year-old Jerry Ricketts, of Shepherdsville, died at the scene.
The driver of the semi and the driver of the Ford F-150 were taken to UofL Hospital with life-threatening injuries, KSP said.
KSP said the crash remains under investigation.
