LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person is dead after a motorcycle crash near the Iroquois Park neighborhood in Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police were called to Manslick Road and Vista John Drive on a reported crash around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, LMPD Spokesperson John Bradley said. 

Bradley said the crash involved a car and a motorcycle. Investigation showed a silver Mazda was traveling northbound and attempting to turn onto Vista John Drive when they collided with the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene. Bradley said they were not wearing a helmet.

Two passengers in the Mazda had minor injuries and were taken to St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, expected to survive.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating, and Bradley said no charges are expected at this time.
