Officers were called to the 500 block of Inverness Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Friday on a report that a person was down in the street.
Police responded on a report that an adult male had been dropped off at the hospital "by private means" with gunshot wounds.
LMPD said the community is fed up with the number of shootings.
