LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 27-year-old man has been identified as one of the two victims of a deadly crash on Dec. 26 near Okolona.

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to a multi-vehicle crash in the 10300 block of Preston Highway at Maple Spring Drive just after 8 p.m., department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement.

The location is near Commerce Crossings Drive and Cooper Chapel Road, off Interstate 265.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was traveling north on Preston Highway when he was struck by a vehicle that pulled into the northbound lanes from Maple Spring Drive, Ellis said.

A third vehicle, also traveling north on Preston Highway, then collided with the motorcycle and the vehicle involved in the initial crash, police said.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Tuesday as Austin Anderson.

Police said a man in his 80s also died at the hospital from his injuries. His name has not been released.
