LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One person was displaced Thursday after an early morning house fire in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood.
The Louisville Fire Department said on social media crews were dispatched to the 600 block of Curry Court at 5:23 p.m. on reports of a house fire.
Once on the scene, 26 firefighters initiated an "aggressive" fire attack on the house and got the flames under control by 5:50 p.m.
LFD said a person and their dog evacuated the home before fire crews arrived. No injuries were reported, but the person was displaced as a result of the fire.
The Arson Unit determined an electrical malfunction as the cause.
