LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A ribbon-cutting was held Friday afternoon to celebrate major improvements at Fern Creek Park. 

An investment of about $1 million paid for the improvements which include a new pavilion and restrooms.

The Miracle League, which is made up of athletes in wheelchairs, competes at the park and the new restrooms were built with them in mind. 

The park already has a fully accessible playground.
