LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were killed and two others were injured early Monday morning in a head-on crash on the Clark Memorial Bridge.
Jeffersonville Police Lt. Sam Moss said one vehicle headed north crossed the center line just after 3:20 a.m. and hit a car headed south. Two passengers in the southbound car were pronounced dead at the scene, Moss said. Another was hospitalized in serious injuries.
The driver of the northbound car was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
The bridge was shut down for about five hours after the crash. It reopened just after 8:30 a.m.
Jeffersonville Police is investigating the crash. The coroner hasn't released the identifies of the victims.
