LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three people died and another was injured after a head-on crash in Breckinridge County Saturday evening.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the reported crash near the 13000 block of KY-261 at 5:10 p.m. CDT.
Police said Joseph Maynard, 48, of Owensboro was driving a truck on KY-261 when for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and hit a truck head-on and both vehicles became engulfed in flames.
The driver of the other truck, 22-year-old Hunter Lyons and a 1-year-old passenger died at the scene.
A woman in Lyons' truck was flown to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Maynard also died at the scene.
