LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The "all clear" was given at Norton Audubon Hospital on Poplar Level Road Thursday evening after a reported bomb threat.
A Louisville Metro Police spokesperson said officers and federal agents responded to the hospital around 3:15 p.m.
Norton Healthcare said at 4:25 p.m. that all access points to the hospital were restricted and ambulances were being diverted to other hospitals.
In an update around 6:27 p.m. Norton said the "all clear" was given. Officials said "nothing was found and everyone is safe."
LMPD said its Homeland Security unit is working with Norton's security teams to investigate the threat.
According to MetroSafe, ambulances are being diverted to other hospitals.
