LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Days after Thanksgiving, Christmas became the focus in Jeffersontown on Sunday evening.
The city of Jeffersontown held its annual Light Up Jeffersontown at Gaslight Square. Despite the wind and rain, there was a tree lighting ceremony, carolers and horse-drawn carriage rides around the square.
For many families, the event is a tradition they don't miss.
"Celebrating Christmas with my family and also looking at the lights and the festivities and just taking it all in cause it is just beautiful," Naomi Hall said.
Santa Claus stopped by for photos with families.
