LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Barbers from across the country come together in Louisville for a first of its kind competition.
The Midwest Kentucky Super Barber Trade Show was held Sunday at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
Barbers competed in hairstyle competitions like free-style design.
There were also classes and workshops throughout the day.
"The National educators that come in, of course, they come in from all around America. They're bringing a new level or a new way of doing things from different areas. Bringing them to Kentucky. And actually sharing them with us. Because to us, that's what it's actually about," said Rick Powers, Major League Barber.
Event organizers hope to make this a yearly event.
