LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new coworking space is open at Norton Commons.

Common Ground working space opened on River Beauty Loop in the North Village of Norton Commons.

It has a common area with booth, island and and table seating. Spaces dedicated to quiet work are also available, each equipped with an adjustable standing desk, dual monitors and a wireless keyboard and mouse.

A large conference room that can accommodate up to 12 people, as well as smaller conference rooms for up to six people, are also available.

Additionally, Common Ground offers an event hosting space that will hold up to 30 people for different events, such as luncheons, networking events, workshops and more.

There is also an Airbnb above the space, which can accommodate up to 12 people or be used as an event space.

The developers of the space, Louisville area entrepreneurs Joey Spaulding, of ARC Contracting, and Jason Hawkins, of Lightpath Wealth and Tax Advisors, said the goal was to design a space that encourages connections.

"Whether you're an entrepreneur looking to link up with other business-minded types, someone tired of their work from home setup, or you're visiting from out of town, we have built something that we hope will lead to meaningful interactions and enduring partnerships for our members," Spaulding said in a news release announcing the opening of Common Ground.

Booking for the space is membership-based, starting at $250 a month, with different tiers available at different rates. Day passes are also available for $49. For more information, click here
