LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A popular Louisville pizza spot is heading across the Ohio River.
DiOrio’s Pizza and Pub plans to open a new location at 2000 Utica Pike, the former site of Kayrouz Marina.
The DiOrio family recently met with Mayor Mike Moore and city officials to share plans for the new restaurant, the City of Jeffersonville said in a Facebook post.
The new spot will offer indoor dining, outdoor patio space and riverfront access, giving customers a place to grab a pizza and enjoy views of the Ohio River.
Architectural and engineering work is already in progress, with plans to open the restaurant next year.
The new restaurant will give the former marina property a new beginning along the Jeffersonville riverfront.
