LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Ford is recalling more than 272,000 vehicles over a serious battery issue.
The recall includes certain 2021 to 2024 Ford Bronco Sport SUVs, and 2022 to 2023 Ford Mavericks.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the 12-volt batteries may have internal issues that can cause them to fail unexpectedly while driving.
Drivers may also lose power to 12-volt accessories like hazard lights, radio and air conditioning.
Ford said recalled vehicles can be taken to a local dealership for repairs.
