INDOT to host job fair for winter seasonal positions

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Indiana Department of Transportation will host four hiring fairs in southeast Indiana for winter seasonal positions.

The hiring events are from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 7 at the following locations:

Aurora Sub District Office: 310995 Marsh Road, Aurora, IN 47001
Bloomington Sub District Office: 2965 N. Prow Road, Bloomington, IN 47404
Columbus Sub District Office: 3545 W. Two Mile House Road, Columbus, IN 47201
Falls City Sub District Office: 5701 U.S. 31, Clarksville, IN 47129

The positions run from early November to early April, and the starting pay ranges from $21-$25 an hour, depending on the position.

Some of the job duties include general highway maintenance, traffic maintenance, and snow and ice removal.

A valid CDL is required to be considered for hire. Sign-on and stay bonuses are available for full-time winter seasonal employees.

Registration is not required to attend the event, and attendees should be prepared for on-site interviews.
