Jet ski rentals now available at Louisville Waterfront Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — You can now rent jet skis at Louisville's Waterfront Park to ride on the Ohio River.

Jet Ski 502 held their ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday.

The business is owned by two college students, Golden Mashindi and Arnold Moto, who are trying to make jet ski rentals permanent on the Louisville waterfront.

What started out as a dream in 2021 with only two jet skis now has become a reality in 2025.

"We're just filling that gap in the market and hopefully we're able to get more people because we're a little more competitively priced," Mashindi said. "It's an opportunity we want everyone to experience the same way that we did, so we think this is the best place to do it."

The duo said they're also hoping to expand their business to northern Kentucky.
