LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville café is closing its doors at the end of January.

Kayrouz Café on Willis Avenue near Louisville's St. Matthews neighborhood is closing Jan. 31, 2026, according to a Facebook post last month.

"It has been a pleasure serving this community. I’m so thankful to have had this opportunity to share my love of cooking with everyone," the post said.

The café has been under the current ownership for the last 15 years. In the post, the owner said they plan to focus on family while still honing their cooking skills.

"My current priorities are family focused as this industry can be very demanding of one’s time," the post said.

The café will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until its last day on Jan. 31.
