LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Hardin County man was arrested after allegedly killing his mother Friday afternoon at a nursing home.
According to court documents, Joseph Curtis, 33, of Radcliff was charged with murder - domestic violence. He allegedly stabbed his mother to death in her room at Signature HealthCARE at North Hardin on Rogersville Road.
When police arrived at the scene just after 2 p.m., they found Curtis with blood on his clothing. Police said he confessed to the stabbing. Court records said he admitted to planning the crime.Â
In court Monday, a judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. Bond was set at $500,000. Curtis was being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.Â
He was scheduled to be back in court on Jan. 12.
