Kentucky Bourbon Trail launches online trip builder

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Kentucky Bourbon Trail made it easier for visitors to choose their own adventure.

It just launched its first-ever online trip builder with the goal of helping visitors customize and personalize their ideal bourbon adventure.

Leaders said the interactive tool will make planning fun and easy, putting all the planning essentials in one place so visitors can easily find distilleries, tasting rooms and other partner experiences.

"Millions of people from all over the world are making the pilgrimage to Kentucky each year to immerse themselves in the art, science and craft of America's only native spirit," Eric Gregory, president of the Kentucky Distillers' Association, said in a news release Tuesday.

Guests can use the tool to curate their itineraries and share their trip with friends, family or travel companions.

There are Kentucky Bourbon Trail experiences in 35 of Kentucky's 120 counties.
