LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville organization will hold its annual business exposition next week.
The Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) is scheduled to host its seventh annual Louisville Local Business Expo from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Mellwood Art Center in the Clifton Heights neighborhood.
According to a news release Tuesday, the exposition with free admission will showcase more than 60 local and independent businesses. University of Louisville President Dr. Kim Schatzel will speak at a luncheon before the event.
"This Expo is a one stop shop for local business success," Jennifer Rubenstein, executive director of LIBA, said in a news release. "We've all been to business expos, but ours is unique in that it also seeks to strengthen the local economy by keeping our dollars circulating locally."
LIBA has more than 850 local business members in its organization.
