Parlour Pizza joining Falls City Beer Taproom in Louisville's Phoenix Hill neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Parlor Pizza is gearing up to launch its sixth location in Kentuckiana, but this one will have a bit of a twist.

The pizza chain is joining forces with Falls City Beer at its Phoenix Hill location, near NuLu.

The brand is already available in Parlour restaurants. Now, Parlour is coming to the Falls City taproom.

"There are some moves that just make sense," Parlour Franchising CEO and President Don Robinson said in a news release. "And with the continued growth of NuLu, an opportunity for Parlour to have a home attached to our beverage partner Falls City Beer, just feels right."

Renovations are ongoing, so the location is currently closed. When it reopens later this month, it will have a new look, a large outdoor area, and "an ample amount" of parking.

A grand opening celebration will be held Monday, Jan. 29, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the taproom, located at 901 East Liberty Street. Organizers said there will be live music, and Parlour will have its full menu available.

Parlour first opened in southern Indiana, with its location near the Big Four Bridge in downtown Jeffersonville. It has since opened locations in downtown New Albany, downtown Louisville, Frankfort Avenue and Jeffersontown.
