LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new Chick-fil-A officially opened its doors Thursday in New Albany.

The restaurant, located on St. Joseph Road near Charlestown Road, opened at 6:30 a.m. Thursday. To celebrate the grand opening, anyone who shows up wearing cow attire on opening day received a free entrée or kids meal — a nod to the company’s well-known "Eat Mor Chikin" campaign.

The new location will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

According to the company, the restaurant has created approximately 90 new jobs in the area.
