LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new dessert spot is getting ready to serve up something sweet at Mall St. Matthews.
The Peach Cobbler Factory — a Louisville-based company known for cobblers, banana pudding and other indulgent treats — is preparing to open in the mall’s food court.
The company has been teasing the launch on social media, saying it plans to be serving customers before the holidays. The store is currently hiring, but an exact opening date hasn’t been announced.
The Peach Cobbler Factory offers a dozen cobbler flavors, 12 kinds of banana pudding, plus cinnamon rolls, pies and milkshakes.
According to our partners Louisville Business First, the new Mall St. Matthews location is being opened by Meena and Dhrub Kainai.Â
The Peach Cobbler Factory has grown rapidly in recent years, expanding to more than 100 locations nationwide.
The new shop will follow mall hours, which have been extended for the holiday season.
