LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular Cajun restaurant has closed its Clifton location.
The J. Gumbo's location at 2109 Frankfort Avenue closed last week, as reported by our partners at Business First.
The location opened in 2005 and was the Cajun chain's flagship store.
J. Gumbo's owner Joseph Montgomery told Business First he closed the Clifton location due to higher costs and the winter weather the area has seen recently.
J. Gumbo's other locations in the Highlands and Middletown are staying open, and the chain has seven locations across Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee.
