SELLERSBURG, Ind. (WDRB) -- The Chicken House, a popular local spot in southern Indiana, will get a visit by popular YouTube channel "America's Best Restaurants."
America's Best Restaurants — which has more than 5,000 subscribers on YouTube — travels the country looking for mom-and-pop eateries that not only display quality but have a loyal following and history.
The Chicken House building dates back to the early 1830s. And this is not the first time it's been recognized for its food.
"We've been voted best chicken in Clark County and in Floyd County, best restaurant in Clark County (and) best family restaurant in Clark County," Mary Kay Mattingly, co-owner of The Chicken House, said Friday. "So we have received quite a bit and we just recently had a magazine come in and take pictures of our food and interview us. It's been pretty exciting."
America's Best Restaurants' episode featuring The Chicken House will film the first week in March.
