LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police says a man was shot and killed near Jacobs Elementary School.
LMPD Spokesperson Christopher Baker said Fourth Division officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Nichols View Court around 8:30 p.m. Sunday on the report of a shooting.
Baker says officers found a man who was shot in the torso. Officers and EMS immediately began rendering aid, but the man died at the scene.
LMPD says it has no suspect information. The department's homicide unit is investigating.
