LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People were encouraged to buy local Sunday as dozens of vendors were set up in south Louisville.
The South Points Buy Local Fair was held at Iroquois Park. The event was hosted by the Louisville Independent Business Alliance.Â
The fair featured more than 50 local vendors, along with music, a silent auction food and drinks. There were also health screenings, a kid's area and a silent auction.
"Keeping the dollar local is huge," vendor Heather Graham said. "It keeps it on our community and it grows exponentially when we do that. We are a full supporter of that as we are also a farmer's market here in Iroquois Park."
