LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An east Louisville apartment building caught fire Tuesday afternoon when a car slammed into it.
The car crashed into another at the corner of Westport Road and Langdon Drive just after 4 p.m. Tuesday before crashing into a gas line and then the Rolling Hills Apartments nearby.
Flames shot through the roof of the building, and downed lines from the crash caused power outages along Langdon Drive.
Louisville Metro Police said officers evacuated the building, and no one inside was hurt.
The driver of the car that crashed into the building was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was treated on scene for minor injuries.
No charges are expected.
