LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A heads up for drivers in Bullitt County as some closures are happening this weekend around Interstate 65 and Cedar Grove Road.
The work needs to happen before a new Double Crossover Diamond interchange opens Monday, June 23.
Starting at 7 p.m. Friday, June 20, through traffic on KY 480, Cedar Grove Road, will be closed in both directions at I-65 until 5 a.m. Monday morning.
Drivers getting off of I-65 will only be able to turn right. Detour signs will be set up.
Crews will be paving, activating new traffic lights and finishing median and curb work. It is all part of a $18.74 million project to reconstruct the interchange to enhance safety and access to the Cedar Grove Business Park.
