LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville businessman and former candidate for mayor is out of jail.

Chris Thieneman was arrested Thursday after police say he violated an emergency protective order. Police documents show that in late April, he ordered employees to remove the front doors to his ex-girlfriend's business, Snap Fitness, on Dixie Highway.

He owns the building.

Plywood was put up in place of the doors, but police say Thieneman told the workers to remove the wood and had them fill a room with old equipment that didn't belong to the victim.

"It was just a room you could go into and work out with a video," said gym member Aaron Harris. "It was kind of like having a trainer on TV to work out with."

Thieneman is out of jail after posting bond.

Last year, he was accused of trying to choke his ex-girlfriend during an argument. That case is still playing out in court.
