LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Construction on a new skate park in Bullitt County is set to begin soon.
The City of Shepherdsville said in a Facebook post that construction on the Shepherdsville Skate Park will start in a few weeks, with an expected finish date of May or early June.
The skate park will be right next to City Hall on Conestoga Parkway. The city announced plans to build the new skate park last May.
The city said the skate park is just one of many projects coming to Shepherdsville. Other projects coming to the city include an aquatic center, all-inclusive playground, splash pad, Pickleball and basketball courts, amphitheater, downtown square, walking trail and dog park.
