LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person died and a man is in critical condition after a shooting in Louisville's Camp Taylor neighborhood near a bar early Saturday morning.

Matthew Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1600 block of Orchard Avenue just after midnight.

Police said a man was found lying on the ground near Marma Dukes on Poplar Level Road after being shot multiple times in the torso.

According to police, the man was taken to UofL Hospital for surgery and is in critical condition.

Police then found a nearby vehicle that had been shot and discovered a second victim inside, who was dead.
