LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A shooting at a liquor store in Louisville's Russell neighborhood resulted in one man with injuries and another who was arrested on wanton endangerment and DUI charges.

According to LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders, the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. inside Lorie's Liquors in the 2300 block of West Market Street. A police report said several people were drinking inside the store when shots were fired from outside.

A man in his 40s was shot in the stomach and required surgery.

According to the citation, the victim was at the store with a friend, 33-year-old Jacori Doyle, who then went outside and fired several shots at no particular target, and drove away. Doyle had been drinking.

Doyle was arrested a short time later and charged with wanton endangerment and DUI. Sanders said he is not accused of shooting his friend.

The suspect is still at large, and LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
