LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a fatal shooting in the Russell neighborhood early Thursday.Â
The shooting was reported around 7 a.m. in the 1000 block of Magazine Street, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. That's near South 9th Street and West Broadway.Â
When officers arrived at that location, they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
LMPD homicide detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting, but there are no suspects at this time.
