LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 15-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on July 15 in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood.
On July 15, police said officers were called to the 300 block of Poplar Level Court around 5:40 p.m. on a reported shooting.
Dunia Tuhenya, 17, was found after being shot in the torso and then was taken to UofL Hospital where he died.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said the 15-year-old boy was charged with murder, possession of a handgun by a minor, tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest.
