LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in a shooting that left three people hurt in Louisville's Park Hill neighborhood.

According to court documents, Isiah Settles was arrested on Thursday and charged with two counts of assault in the June 6 shooting in the 1600 block of West Oak Street. Settles is also charged with criminal mischief.

Officers were called around 12:20 a.m. on June 6 on a report of multiple people shot, LMPD spokesman John Bradley said at the time.

Court documents said Settles contacted one of the victims through social media to find out where they were. Settles, along with a juvenile, arrived at the home on West Oak Street and asked for the victim they contacted to come outside. When that person came outside, Settles and the juvenile started shooting.

A man and two teenagers were shot and taken to UofL Hospital. Court documents said two of the victims were rushed into surgery and treated for "life-threatening gunshot wounds." The victims’ conditions are unknown at this time.

One of the victims refused to identify Settles, but through investigation, police found communication in which Settles admitted to the shooting. It's unknown if the juvenile who was with Settles has been arrested or charged.

Settles is being held in Louisville Metro Corrections and is set to be in court Friday.
