2 dead, 2 in hospital after shooting at Louisville club in Southland Park neighborhood, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were killed in a shooting at a night club in Louisville early Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Evangeline Avenue to The Hot Spot in the Southland Park neighborhood around 5 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot to death.

Police also found a man and woman who had been shot. They were taken to University of Louisville Hospital. Police said a man, who was shot on Evangeline Avenue, arrived at the hospital a short time later with a gunshot wound.

One of those men later died at the hospital, according to police.

Police said the others victims at the hospital are stable.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting. The identities of the people killed in the shooting hasn't been released.
