LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two men are in the hospital after being shot Thursday night in the city's California neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a reported shooting in the 1000 block of Dr. W J Hodge Street, near Greenwood Avenue, about 10:53 p.m., LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot. Both men were taken to UofL Hospital, where one man was in "serious, but stable condition, and is likely to survive." The other man is listed in critical condition, according to the release.
Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
There are no suspects at this time.
