NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- New Albany Police are investigating after two people were stabbed Tuesday night.
Chief Todd Bailey said the double stabbing was reported in the 1900 block of East Market Street around 9 p.m. That's near Jay and Silver streets, not far from Bicknell Park.
Once on scene, officers found two male victims, Bailey said. They were transported to University Hospital in Louisville.
Bailey said their conditions are unknown, but they are "expected to survive." The nature of their injuries is also unknown.
Police believe "all individuals involved" are accounted for and said there is no threat to public safety.
It's unclear if any arrests have been made. Bailey said the investigation remains ongoing.
