LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Three men have been indicted for the murder of a federal witness.

On May 8, a federal grand jury indicted Anyelle Curtley Sr., 47, and Antoyne Penick, 48, both of Louisville, along with Delrico Nelson, 48, of Macomb, Illinois.

They’re charged with conspiracy to tamper with a witness by killing and conspiracy to retaliate against a witness by killing.

According to the federal indictment, Curtley and Nelson conspired to kill the victim in January 2024 to prevent them from testifying, and in retaliation for cooperating with law enforcement.

Curtley and Penick also face separate federal charges for drug trafficking and illegal gun possession as convicted felons.
